We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new BAUHAUS COLLECTION, a new series of jewellery inspired by our research into the Bauhaus movement🟡🔺🔹
Earlier this year, we travelled to Dessau, Germany for a research trip, visiting the Bauhaus Museum, the Bauhaus Building and the Masters’ Houses.
Experiencing these places in person gave us a different perspective on Bauhaus — not only its iconic architecture, forms and colours, but the ideas and ethos behind the movement.
We were especially inspired by its spirit of experimentation, creativity, collaboration and education — and by the idea of bringing art, design and making together.
We had been thinking about creating a Bauhaus-inspired collection for a long time, and this year felt like the right time to finally explore it in our own way.
Our research took us across many different aspects of the Bauhaus, from painting, sculpture, textile, furniture, theatre, design and architecture. We came back to the studio with lots of sketches, ideas and inspiration, which gradually began to shape our new collection.
The result is 12 original jewellery styles, including studs, hoops, necklaces and a bracelet — each one reflecting a different part of our journey through Bauhaus.
