Inspired by Gunta Stölzl, the first and only woman to become a Master at the Bauhaus, who played a pioneering role in the school’s weaving workshop.
Her textile works, with their bold use of colour, geometric forms and rhythmic patterns, inspired us to explore pattern and repetition through our own layered composition, translating the language of woven textiles into contemporary wearable art.
